About the Presentation

Operators will share their roadmap of adopting artificial lift management through digitalization, due to the complexity of downhole operations and costs. They will share their current situation and openness to other new technologies for service providers to understand opportunities to share more technological advancements and services.

About the Speakers

Khairul Nizam Bin Idris

Principal Production Technology, PETRONAS

Khairul Nizam Bin Idris has 17 years of working experience in the upstream (E&P) oil and gas industry under various projects and responsibilities in Petroleum Engineering. He has in-depth technical experience and capability in well completion design for Field Development Plans, Workover Operation, High Pressure & High Temperature development and Carbonate Reservoir Development. He is experienced in designing artificial lift systems, including engineering requirements which involved surface facilities assessment to optimize production strategy. He is also experienced in well surveillance work, offshore and onshore operations and in designing sand control strategy, sand erosion calculation and providing input for sand management guidelines as part of the Holistic Sand Management approach in PETRONAS. He graduated from UTP with a MSc. Petroleum Engineering and is currently in Principal Production Technology under RDM, Malaysia Petroleum Management.

Dadik Hendra Kusuma

Well Performance Leader, PT. PERTAMINA HULU MAHAKAM

Dadik Hendra Kusuma has 14 years of working experience in upstream (E&P) oil and gas industry, with 5 years in well intervention and 9 years in well performance engineering. He has strong technical experience and capability in well intervention operation (perforation, gaslift, zone shut off, N2 unloading, surfactant capillary string, cementing and fishing/milling). He has 2 years of international exposure in TOTAL France headquarters for various projects (artificial lift RnD, network modeling, etc.), including project missions in Dubai, UAE and Pointe-Noire, Congo. He has strong experience in Sand Management, Well and Network modeling, Production Monitoring swamp wells gas (300 wells) and oil wells with gaslift system (100 wells), and well management to ensure in optimum and safe condition. He is currently a well performance leader (production engineering) in Pertamina Hulu Mahakam – East Kalimantan.

Fatemeh Mehran (Moderator)

Industry Solution Advisor, Haliburton, Asia

Having 20 years’ experience in Oil and Gas Industry, Fatemeh Mehran has worked on multiple projects as a projects technical consultant or advisor in the Middle East and also worked in solutions development for production engineering and operation solutions business development and marketing in Asia with Schlumberger. Furthermore, she was working as a NEXT Instructor, Gas Lift Optimization Solution Consultant and a Digital Oil Field and Flow Assurance Global Leader for the past 3 years. She is actively serving SPE workshops as Co- Chair or Moderator and currently she is a Chair Person on the SPE- KL and Global production ward committee voluntarily. In addition, she is the regional champion for the Artificial technical section in Asia.
