Presentation: Decarbonising aviation

Decarbonising aviation presents a complex challenge due to the sector’s high energy demands, long asset lifecycles, and strict performance requirements. This presentation explores the technical and commercial strategies driving the transition to lower-emission aviation, focusing on solutions that are both scalable and economically viable.

Key technologies discussed include sustainable aviation fuels (SAFs), with an emphasis on their readiness levels, integration challenges, and infrastructure needs.

Drawing on market insights and global case studies, the presentation highlights how commercial strategy, modular innovation, and targeted investment can accelerate adoption. The discussion bridges technical feasibility with business imperatives, offering a pragmatic roadmap for stakeholders committed to advancing low-carbon aviation.
