Brown Field Evaluation: Integrating Field Production with Log and Core Data – A Joint SPEWA and FESAus Masterclass

Brown Field Evaluation: Integrating Field Production with Log and Core Data
During the Production life of a hydrocarbon field, reservoir performance can become very different to the expectations when production starts. Understanding what positively and negatively affects production is critical to a technically and economically successfully completed field.
This Master Class addresses many of these technical issues in formation evaluation and reservoir engineering/evaluation.
SPE and FESAUS have assembled 9 excellent speakers, talking on many aspects of brown fields:
Brown Field Evaluation
Andrew Buffin, ResEval Consulting Pty. Ltd.
Quantifying Water-Free Production
Wesley Emery,iRPM / RTN
Re-evaluating low resistivity pay intervals in mature fields
Rick Aldred, Independent Consultant
Integrating fibre optic surveys with petrophysics and geomechanics for sand control decisions in a brown field
Abbas Khasar, Baker Hughes GE
Completion Planning From a Geological Prospective. Using Core, DFIT and Tracer Data to Improve Hydraulic Fracture Modelling
David Hume, Corelab
Electrostatic origins of oil-brine-rock interactions: Implications for low salinity water flooding
Sam Xie, WA School of Mines
