Title: RVI REVOLUTION. How it’s reducing risk, time & costs in our industry.
Abstract: Remote Visual Inspection (RVI) has evolved from a ‘nice to have’ to an industry expectation. In fact, it’s such a focus in some areas for RVI that a benchmark target of 2020 is the date set for confined space entry elimination on some Oil & Gas Facilities. RVI has been evolving in highly technical and specialized industries such as aviation and nuclear for decades, proving its benefits through quality, risk-reducing inspection programs and ultimately cost saving. Now, this technology is exploding in our industry bringing the same benefits; a few success stories will show how to overcome the major RVI challenges in today’s facilities. The goal of how to enter, how to acquire, and increasingly more important, how to get there safely.
About Jason: he worked for more than 20 years domestically and internationally on installations, commissioning, and start-up managing multi-disciplined activities involving the use of technology. He previously held roles within Woodside, Alcoa, and Chevron. And projects in Australia, Singapore, Thailand, Kuwait, Ghana, and Dubai, in 2014 Jason launched Nexxis with a vision of bringing state-of-the-art equipment combined with technical know-how into Australia and New Zealand.
