The SPE Young Professionals Tech101 series is an event primarily targeted at entry to mid-level engineers within the oil and gas community, to provide “101” level education on topics across the industry. Professionals of all experience levels are open to come, but keep in mind materials presented are catered to young professionals.

Abstract

Speaker – Ivar Holm
Ivar has more than 40 years’ experience in the oil industry, starting work as a roughneck at Ekofisk in 1979.
Worked 24 years with Statoil (now Equinor) with exploration/appraisal drilling as well as several years in well management companies.
5 years as operation manager in Algeria. Drilling superintendent in Nigeria. 2 years as Drilling manager in Ghana. Worked on all continents.
Started to work for Hydrawell July 2021.
