Introduction: Timor-Leste’s oil and gas industry has played an important role in supporting the nation’s development and remains a key part of its economic future. As the country works to strengthen its energy sector, there are opportunities to build local capability, attract investment, develop infrastructure and create long-term benefits for future generations. With a general election expected in 2028, the coming years will be important in shaping the direction of the sector.
Question for the one-minute video clip:
“What should be the top priorities for Timor-Leste’s oil and gas and energy sector to achieve before 2028, and why?”
HINTS: Please keep your introduction in the video very short, e.g. My name is x, studying Petroleum Engineering in year 2 at x. The judges will look for originality, creativity, clarity and professionalism in your one-minute video.
