2016 SPE WA Scholarship Fundraising Golf Day

On behalf of the Society of Petroleum Engineers WA Division, we would like to warmly invite you to participate in the Annual SPE Scholarship Fundraising Golf Day at Maylands Peninsular Golf Club on Friday 13th May.

Registrations of up to four players in a team are available. The ambrose event will commence at 12pm, with access to the driving range and practice greens prior to commencement. Food and beverages will be available to players throughout the day. Following the golf is a BBQ dinner with drinks, and presentation of prizes.

Prizes for 1st, 2nd and 3rd placed teams and Skill/Novelty Prizes.

In past years industry associated companies have generously sponsored SPE golf days ensuring a successful event and the continuation of SPE student scholarships to local petroleum engineering students. All monies raised go towards student scholarships.

Details of the Ambrose Event
• Registration of up to four players in a team
• Maximum handicap of 24 for men and 32 for women unless you have a registered handicap. Each players drive must be used three times over the 18holes. Golf Carts will be supplied.
• 11.00am: Arrival, registration, light lunch and refreshments provided in the clubhouse area
• 11.00am-11.45pm: Driving range and practice green available to all players
• 11.45am – 12.00 noon: Pre start briefing and players proceeding to allocated tees
• 12.00 noon: Shot gun start on course
• 4:30pm: Anticipated finish. Scorecards to be handed in at the pro shop.
• 5.00pm: Meet in the function room for BBQ dinner and drinks.
• 6:00pm: Presentation of awards and prizes.
• 8:00pm: Conclusion of Event

Maylands Dress Regulations
• Jeans, tracksuits, crew neck shirts, t-shirts and thongs ARE NOT ACCEPTABLE
• Socks must be worn with shoes. Shoes must have soft spikes.
• Runners and rubber soled shoes are acceptable
Hire requirements:
• Clubs are available for hire
• There is a single shower available in each of the men’s and women’s change rooms. Players will need to provide their own towel.
