Speaker: Jurien Broughton

Jurien has over 14 years’ experience in 3D animation & visualisation, 3D printing, and real-time simulation for subsea, onshore and offshore projects in the energy industry. His specialty is digital technologies, particularly 3D graphics and associated software systems.

Jurien has extensive experience with Autodesk 3ds Max creating animations of offshore and subsea operations, and preparing 3D models of equipment and structures for use on real-time ROV simulators. He also has experience developing plugins for 3ds Max to add new functionality and to provide workflow optimisation. He has a background in programming and scripting in the field of 3D graphics, and works closely with engineering teams to visualise, simulate, and communicate complex projects.

Jurien holds a Bachelor of Science with a double-major in Computer Science and Games Technology, and is serving as a Technology Expert (Digital) within T.EN’s Technical Expertise Program.

Presentation:

Animations & visualisations are useful through all aspects of projects from tendering and business development, early concept renders, to 3D studies to support engineering, to communication of procedures and QHSES inductions. They bring a deeper level of understanding to a project and an additional level of confidence in the safety and design of a project.

Take a closer look at how to leverage a variety of new or existing inputs to explore a project before any construction begins, using flexible and adaptable digital technologies.

Speaker: Luke Klingenberg

Luke Klingenberg’s expertise lies in driving innovation through the commercialisation of cutting-edge technologies. With extensive experience in developing and deploying digitisation solutions for global Energy sector projects, Luke offers valuable insights into how digitisation can improve efficiency and effectiveness in operational/ decommissioning processes and revolutionise the energy industry as a whole.

 Demonstration:

Imagine the power of remotely visualising your assets with secure, unlimited access to its real-world state. Gain unparalleled insights into potential issues and impacts before making any decisions or mobilising resources to site. Through prescribed application of aerial and terrestrial capture technologies, Airscope provides accurate, scalable, and photo-realistic Digital Twins of complex assets, registered on our SaaS platform ‘Visualize’. Our Reality Capture models, connected via 3D laser scanning point-clouds and photogrammetry techniques, achieve engineering-grade accuracy <2mm. Digital Twins serve as a central hub for asset intelligence, enabling organisations to enhance safety, reduce costs, and manage operations with confidence.
