About the Speaker
Professor Colin Roberts is a Chartered Mining Engineer, Chartered Petroleum Engineer, Chartered Scientist, Resources & Investment Legal and Policy Academic, International Commercial and Investment Arbitrator, Accredited International Commercial Mediator, Adjudicator, Expert Determiner and Dispute Board Member, with over 40 years of multi-disciplinary resource industry experience, most of which has been in the developing world.
He now mainly specializes in international dispute resolution, sovereign risk and the facilitation of foreign direct investment (FDI) in the resources, energy and infrastructure sectors.
Colin does, and has held, numerous public and private directorships. One of his current projects of interest, is as Chairman of Salternas Ltd, directing one of the World’s largest, emerging, Solar-Salt, SOP and Humanitarian food projects, located in Somaliland.
